Leonard Buzz - CEO

Leonard Buzz, CEO of On Center Software, Inc., has over 20 years of experience as an interior contractor. This experience was the catalyst Leonard needed to develop the concept of effective and user-friendly estimating programs. In 1988, Leonard followed his dream and founded On Center Software, Inc., simplifying the estimating process for contractors to produce more profitable bids in less time. Besides leading the business side of On Center Software, Leonard is also directly involved with all the developmental stages of On Center Software’s applications, ensuring the highest quality of every On Center Software product. Leonard has an open ear and believes that customer comments should be taken seriously, with a compassionate nature.

Angelo

Angelo Castelli – Business Development Director

Angelo Castelli, Business Development Director, is responsible for sharing and promoting the benefits of On Center Software products to new customers. Having over ten years of active industry experience, he has first-hand knowledge of estimating and project management, as well as commercial construction project know-how (ranging from light industrial and new commercial hi-rise buildings, to infrastructure). Aiming to ensure that current customers maximize the functionalities within On Center Software’s programs, Angelo demonstrates the capabilities that the programs have to offer in their entirety. Mr. Castelli had once held the position of Chief Estimator/Project Manager for Western Reserve Interiors, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, where he utilized On Center Software products. Whenever Angelo is not assisting customers and guiding the Business Development team, he enjoys a game of golf.

Greg

Greg Duyka – Product Specialist

As an alumnus of Southwest Texas State University, Greg Duyka has over 20 years of estimating and project management experience in the fields of commercial and residential construction.  Greg’s past projects are varied within areas including light industrial assignments, new commercial hi-rise building projects, multi-family developments, historical restoration ventures, and infrastructure projects. Mr. Duyka’s experience includes over five years of experience as a safety director and an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards instructor. Greg, a 10 year veteran of On Center, treks to all regions of the world, providing training and demonstrations for all On Center Software products.

Cynthie

Cynthie Thomas – Training Manager

Cynthie Thomas, Training Manager, has first hand knowledge of the trials and tribulations of performing estimation takeoff by hand. Cynthie’s estimating experience of 5 years, along with her work history in construction management for residential and tenant build-out in retail strip centers, helps her understand the potential needs of those who may require guidance upon using On Center Software’s programs for the first time.  This honorary Texan also holds 14 years of experience in the computer industry, having dealt with topics ranging from hardware engineering, software testing, Unix, Microsoft and 3D modeling. Cynthie has a natural ability to help customers and she enjoys receiving customer feedback concerning how On Center Software’s customers use their programs.

Jason

Jason Barnes – Product Trainer

Jason Barnes initially gained in-depth knowledge of On Center Software’s products as a member of our Technical Support Department before transitioning into our Training department, as an On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid Product Trainer. In addition to being an experienced DJ and avid skateboard enthusiast, Jason adds 15 years of technological expertise, in areas such as complex database issues, advanced hardware/software topics, and network engineering, to the On Center Software family.

Brian

Brian Leediker – Product Trainer

Because his experience with On Center Software spans almost a decade, Brian Leediker, Product Trainer, has expert knowledge of the latest versions of the On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid programs. Brian also possesses an extensive comprehension of On Center Software’s legacy products as well.  Specializing in Quick Bid training, Brian assists estimators with complicated software functionality issues.  Before joining the On Center Software team, this father of two actually worked as a paint laborer in his youth. This adds to his ability to understand and communicate the various needs of estimating labor in Quick Bid!   

Dana Gerica

Dana Gerica – Product Trainer

Dana Gerica has recently joined On Center Software as a Product Trainer for the Training Department.  Dana’s experience stems from not only a background in estimating and project management, but also from her work history with concrete, multi-family make-ready, build-out, fire restoration and residential demolition.  She believes that the software she utilized for those projects was not as “efficient, complete or detailed” as On-Screen Takeoff. Dana has the love of customer service and the ability to help On Center Software customers with ease; and in her free-time you can find her watching football with her children.

Aaron Foster

Aaron Foster – IT Coordinator

As On Center Software’s Information Technology (IT) Coordinator, Aaron Foster solves day-to-day computer issues and implements the latest hardware and software systems for the company. As an alumnus of Iowa State University, holding a degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Aaron provides technological solutions for every department within On Center Software. Aaron also possesses a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification as well as a certification in E-Commerce. Two years ago, Aaron began his career at On Center Software as a Technical Support representative, and now he hones his specialized savvy for the development and growth of the company. Whenever Aaron is away from the office, he is partial to disc golf and practicing his archery skills.

Tim Adams

Tim Adams - Tech Support Specialist

Tim Adams is a Level II Technical Support Representative. He’s been with On Center Software for three years as a member of the Technical Support Team. Tim has a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, is a Windows 2000 Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and also holds Comptia A+ and Network + certifications. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing lacrosse for a local club team.

 

Tim Corder

Tim Corder, a veteran of both the US Army Infantry and the US Army Reserves, has degrees in Occupational Technology, Construction Cost Estimating, and Computer Construction Cost Estimating. As a cost consultant with the military, Tim was sent the first Beta program of On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff by CEO Leonard Buzz in 1996.  Finishing this role in late 2005, Tim found himself as a field inspection team leader for the SBA in New Orleans, LA and the surrounding areas, validating business and property losses due to catastrophic hurricanes. Currently, Tim is positioned as PreConstruction Manager at The Weitz Company, which consists of construction managers and general managers in 14 states and along the Pacific Rim, concentrating in both commercial and industrial markets.  At the present time, Tim also serves as a reservist for disaster recovery and cost validation, and likes to fish for marlin and sailfish on his Cobia sport fishing boat in the Bahamas.

 

Mike Luke

As a former National Trustee as the West & Northwest Region Governor for the American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE), Mike Luke is currently a consultant and owner of the Mountainlands Area Plan Rooms, a builders exchange.  Developing from an estimating consulting business, the Mountainlands Area Plan Rooms was established in 1990, and currently includes 5 physical offices in Utah and hosts on-line with customers in 11 states.  In 1974, Mike began his construction career and built a strong background in architecture and manufacturing, gaining experience by designing and building structures in Arizona, California, Idaho, Montana, and Nevada.  As a licensed contractor and steel fabricator, Mike has produced successful bid results for a major steel fabricator and bridge builder, as well as for his own fabrication business!  With his experience and good instincts, he has developed the ability to implement winning strategies into the bidding methodology.

 

Chris Nicholas

As a graduate of both DeVry Institute of Technology and California State University – Long Beach, Chris began his experience with project management and estimation in 1984 as Project Manager for Nicholas Construction Company, Inc.  Chris has experience with a variety of project management and estimating assignments, ranging from construction projects in residential and commercial fields, to family owned businesses and academic endeavors. Chris’ experience includes a thorough background in corporate projects, as shown by his direction for a project dealing with the New York Stock Exchange. Chris holds a solid and successful history in project/contract management as well as bidding and estimation, and is the owner of Techease, Inc.

 

Kevin Miller

Kevin R. Miller gained estimating experience by holding employment with several companies in Utah and Arizona, including Layton Construction (the largest contracting firm in the inter-mountain west) as well as W.E. O’Neil (Phoenix, Arizona).  In the past, he has also served as a certified trainer for Precision Estimating, and provided technical support for Sage Timberline users in both Idaho and Utah.  Earning further experience and knowledge in advising, Kevin has consulted in areas regarding the subject matters of electronic documentation for estimating, Sage Timberline Office, and introducing the methods of estimation.   Holding a Ph.D. degree from the Arizona State University, Kevin is currently an assistant professor in the Construction Management Program at Brigham Young University, which also utilizes On Center Software’s Academic Program.

 

Del Farley

Being a Project Manager for EIC Services and an American Society of Professional Estimators (ASPE) member, Del Farley has almost 15 years of construction know-how, specializing in the areas of project estimating and budgeting.  Having experience in residential and commercial fields, he has provided professional estimating services in both areas, including value engineering and feasibility studies.  Additionally, not only is Del a member of the ASPE, he is also a committee member for the SW Ohio Chapter 38, as well as the ASPE’s Independent Consultant Special Interest Group’s (SIG) Chairman!
