Mr. Brian Thompson, an estimator for Hoar Construction (Birmingham, AL office) stated that On-Screen Takeoff is used “company wide”.  One main feature that really distinguished On Center’s takeoff utility from the competition’s, was the overlay tool.  Plus the fact that the “Industry is using this product more than others” helped Hoar Construction choose On Center Software over other brands such as Quest and E-Ring. 

“[On Center is] much more professional and Technical support is real” added Brian.  “The support staff is always helpful when I have a problem. They have recently helped us get on the SQL server which has helped us eliminate the data loss that we had experienced with using Access databases.”

Brian Thompson continued to state that On-Screen Takeoff has helped decrease their estimating time by “50%” as well as increased their takeoff accuracy.
