Over the years, Stewart & Sundell Concrete (Las Vegas, NV) has increased its infrastructure, staff, and revenue.  Along with this growth, improvements were made to their estimating and project management department through the implementation of software created by On Center.

Mr. Peter Sundell, an estimator for Stewart & Sundell, took time to comment about these improvements.  “On-Screen Takeoff has dramatically improved the accuracy and ease of our takeoffs. There isn't any more guess work.”  In reference to a current project, Peter stated “After the job was bid we were able to review our takeoff and figure out exactly what was missing and what didn't need to be included.  The job isn't finished yet but we have been able to print out our takeoffs to show to the contractor and prove to them what was and was not bid.” 

Prior to using On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff, Stewart & Sundell used a competing program called Quick Measure.  “The problem with that is the only record that you had of your takeoff is some lines on a page that showed approximately what was measured. It just wasn't exact enough and it was too hard to look at previous bids and figure what was included.”

“Being able to review a job and see exactly what was bid” was the deciding factor for switching to On Center Software.  “Quick Measure only produced lines on a page. On-Screen makes it possible to print out our actual takeoff.”
