Brooklyn-based Design Tech owners take a “step into the future” using On-Screen Takeoff® and Quick Bid software

The Woodlands, Texas (April 23, 2009) — On Center Software, Inc. has made its television debut on the DIY Network’s “Under Construction,” a 30-minute reality show that follows Brooklyn-based Design Tech’s John DeSilvia and John Palanca. The stars of the show recently gave On Center Software’s On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid programs a test run in order to complete an estimate for an upcoming project.

Watch DeSilvia and Palanca go head-to-head in a manual versus digital estimating challenge using On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid, and find out how the software fared against tape and scale. The episode, titled “Old Dog, New Tricks,” airs on Saturday, April 25, at 9:30PM and Sunday, April 26, at 1:30AM CST.
