Although there always seems to be a bigger and better way in the world of technology, some things are actually better left alone. With the 64 bit processor on the market, many are contemplating an upgrade. In theory, the 64 bit processor would seem to be the better of the two since it was built with the intention of processing data at a faster speed. However, the problem occurs when this processor interacts with programs that have been written with a 32 bit processing stream. The 64 bit processor is faster, but when working with a program written for 32 bit processing, it risks the ability of being compatible. Because our products are written with a 32 bit processing stream, we recommend the use of a 32 bit processor. However, our products will run on a 64bit processor but we do not provide support for any errors that are specifically related to the use of the 64bit processor.
