Installing

On Center Software recommends that if you have bids due that you wait to install any upgrade until you have sufficient time. It is also a good idea to make an archival backup of your database files before installing any upgrade.
Note: Your data files will not be affected until they are accessed in this version of Quick Bid. Once accessed in 4.8, your databases will be upgraded to the new format and will no longer be accessible in previous versions. Users accessing a SHARED database must upgrade at the same time in order to retain access to the database. If you are sharing a database, it is best to contact your IT Department so they can coordinate the installation.
You must have Administrator priviliges on the machine on which you are installing Quick Bid to complete the installation process.
