Quick Bid 4.91.0 includes new features and several fixes to known issues.

Things you should know
- Showing Production in the Labor Tab breaks a Labor Cost Code by Item Code
- Labor Tab column settings (sort, column width, column location) are independent when Production Shows and when Production is Hidden
- On Labor Tab, when last row is updated, focus moves to the first row of the next column
- On Labor Tab, when updating a field, if next row is blank (read only), focus moves to first editable field in next row
- Changing production of cost codes that, rearranges the cost code rows with same item code based on the Qty/hr values
Known Issues
- TT#13321 Other Totals are not displayed on Cost per Sq. Size, Labor Risk and Payroll Reports. TT#13321 (New issue, broken in this version)
- TT#13351 Section Indirect Expenses are deleted when Others or Equipment data uses same section
- TT#13355 Checking 'Include accepted alternate sections' on Markup Dialog incorrectly recalculates Labor Tax/Burden. Refresh issue, clicking ok on the markups dialog then re-opening displays correct values
- TT#13349 Updating Condition Quantity for a multi-area condition filtered by Area does not calculate Item Detail Quantities correctly. Refresh issue, closing and re-opening the condition displays the correct quantities
- TT#13314 Open Database ‘Size’ column sort order does not follow displayed ascending/descending arrow
- TT#13340 Resetting Default Options with production showing on the Labor Tab incorrectly resets view

Database Upgrade Required for all users upgrading to this version from any version previous. If you are upgrading an SQL database, contact the SQL Administrator first.
Installing

On Center Software recommends that if you have bids due that you wait to install any upgrade until you have sufficient time. It is also a good idea to make an archival backup of your database files before installing any upgrade.
Note: Your data files will not be affected until they are accessed in this version of Quick Bid. Once accessed in 4.91, your databases will be upgraded to the new format and will no longer be accessible in previous versions. Users accessing a SHARED database must upgrade at the same time in order to retain access to the database. If you are sharing a database, it is best to contact your IT Department so they can coordinate the installation.
You must have Administrator priviliges on the machine on which you are installing Quick Bid to complete the installation process.
Uninstalling

To uninstall Quick Bid 4.91, open the Windows Control Panel
Located Add/Remove Programs
Select Quick Bid 4 from the list
Choose "Remove" from the options list
NOTE: uninstalling Quick Bid does not affect your data files. Any database opened in 4.91 will no longer be accessible in previous versions.

Q. I receive the following an error message indicating the "ENGINE" is not installed. What do I do?
A. Download the newest MSI Engine here MSI3 and follow Microsoft's instructions for installation.
Q. After installation, all my databases appear to be in Read Only mode.
A. You more than likely need to re-authorize your application. Click FILE>Check Authorization, then click "Reauthorize". If you are using a Floating License, you will need to contact your System Administrator to ensure the OCS License Manager server is reauthorized before attempting to use Quick Bid 4.9.
Q. How to I get to the Training Videos and the User Guide?
A. Click Help > Training Central
