Digital Production Control

• Major changes:
  • Hide Alternate bids on Bids tab when the parent Base bid contains DPC data
  • A bid may only be changed to DPC mode if it is in Quick Bid - Interactive mode and the user has correct DPC licensing
  • Allows the import of DPC and DPM files created from same, not identical, software versions
  • Changed Earned Hours and Used Hours columns on DPC Log dialog to eTrans and uTrans
  • There is now a DPC specific Help File and User Guide available on the Help menu
  • DPC changes cannot be sent from a duplicate copy of a bid
• Updates:
  • Removing Typical Groups in alternates and change orders no longer creates wrong percent values in the base bid
  • Negative hours also show minutes in the DPC image tab
  • Hide 100% objects hides the correct background objects
  • Print preview correctly shows alternate's takeoff in DPC
  • Bids tab displays the DPC data of the current date
  • Importing a DPC change file while another file is being processed no longer causes OST to crash
  • Only bids with DPC data should appear in blue font on the Bids tab
  • Bid no longer gets locked when there is no DPC data after removing takeoff
  • Message correctly explains why user can't delete a page if a CO has DPC data
  • Foreman can only Post a timecard, Project Manager must Approve
  • Hiding 100% parent objects no longer hides Attachments that are not 100% complete

• Database Upgrade Required for all users upgrading to this version from any version previous to v.3.6.0.137 (3.6.0.134 and before).

Installing

On Center Software recommends that if you have bids due that you wait to install any upgrade until you have sufficient time. It is also a good idea to make an archival backup of your database files before installing any upgrade.

• Once the download is complete, double-click the file to run the Installer.
• The installer will remove your previous version, then install the upgraded application.

NOTE: Your data files will not be affected until they are accessed in this version of On-Screen Takeff.

Note: On-Screen Takeoff 3.6 is an upgrade to 3.4.1 and 3.5, if you have a version of On-Screen Takeoff prior to v. 3.4.1.526, you will need to uninstall that version before installing v.3.5. Uninstalling On-Screen Takeoff does not affect your data files.

To uninstall On-Screen Takeoff 3.6

1. Open the Windows Control Panel.
2. Locate Add/Remove Programs.
3. Select On-Screen Takeff from the list.
4. Choose "Remove" from the options list

NOTE: uninstalling On-Screen Takeff does not affect your data files.
