On-Screen Takeoff File Formats

If you are experiencing difficulty opening a project (*.ost) file, here are some possible reasons: The project file you are attempting to open was created using a newer version of On-Screen Takeoff. If you need further assistance, you can contact your Sales or Technical Support representative. The project file you are attempting to open is corrupt or is not a valid On-Screen Takeoff project file. Please contact the creator of the file for further assistance.

If you are experiencing difficulty using an image file in On-Screen Takeoff, please note that On-Screen Takeoff currently supports the following file formats:
  • TIFF (recommended file format)
  • CAL
  • OSP
  • CPC (via conversion)
  • PDF (created in Adobe Acrobat 6)
  • TIF
  • PLN
  • PLT
  • DGN
  • DRW
  • DXF
  • DWG
  • DWF
  • CGM
  • HPG
  • ME
  • PCT
  • BLA
  • OSE

On Center Software cannot guarantee that any particular file will work in On-Screen Takeoff due to variances in how images are created and/or saved. If you experience difficulties with a particular file, please contact the creator of that file for assistance.
