CPCTool Registration Guide

Before running On-Screen Takeoff 3.4 (and above), an ADMINISTRATOR will need to manually register the CPCTool converter in order to view CPC files.

1. Open Windows Explorer.
2. Navigate to the “C” drive or whichever drive you installed On-Screen Takeoff.
   
3. Open the Program Files folder, then the On-Screen Takeoff 3 folder.
   
4. Right-click on the CPCTool.exe file.
   
5. Select “Run As Administrator” – at this point, if you are not an Administrator on the PC, you will have to have an Administrator enter their credentials in order to proceed.
   
6. An MS-DOS type window will open asking you if you would like to review the CPCTool User Agreement. Type in “N” and Enter.
   
7. You are then prompted to accept the agreement – type “Y” and Enter.

Once an Administrator has accepted this agreement, you will not see this window again. You will be prompted to convert your CPC files each time you import them into On-Screen Takeoff, but you will no longer receive the User Agreement prompt.
