ON CENTER SOFTWARE RELEASES ON-SCREEN TAKEOFF® VERSION 3.8 AND QUICK BID VERSION 4.91
The Woodlands, Texas (July 22, 2010)--On Center Software proudly announces the release of On-
Screen Takeoff® Version 3.8 and Quick Bid Version 4.91. Using customer feedback and user requests to
further improve On Center Software's program capabilities, On-Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid have
added enhancements to their award-winning estimating and bidding technology.
For years, estimators and contractors have been using the Overlay tool within On-Screen Takeoff to
efficiently compare plan revisions and spot unmarked changes. With the overlay tool, deleted items are
clearly marked in red, while newly added items are in blue. Items that remain the same are simply
grayed out. This feature saves users from missing addendums that aren't clouded, and it automatically
marks the changes for those out in the field.
On-Screen Takeoff Version 3.8 will redefine the term "overlay," making mismatched superimposed
images obsolete. New overlay features include:
• Automatic resizing and aligning for overlay images
• Ability to rotate overlay images independent of base image
• De-skew function for overlay images
Additional features include:
• Enhanced PDF handling
• Sorting capabilities in Open Database dialog box
Quick Bid 4.91 is now equipped with new features as well, including:
