Leonard Buzz is CEO of On Center Software, Inc. In his role as the company’s chief executive, he oversees all aspects of On Center’s software design, including development, production and implementation and leads the firm’s executive “Vision Team” for software products.
Mr. Buzz founded On Center Software in 1988 with the launch of his original software concept, Quick Bid. With an extensive business background in commercial contracting, he was inspired to design software that would help contractors manage their day-to-day duties while helping them avoid common mistakes that prevented them from making profits on bids. In 1995, Mr. Buzz invented On-Screen Takeoff, the most advanced digital takeoff tool on the market today.
Under his direction, On Center Software continues to develop and launch innovative software products for construction industry professionals, including Digital Production Control™, the most profit-friendly tool in the construction technology toolbox.
Cecilia Padilla President
Cecilia Padilla, President of On Center Software, Inc. is an internationally known expert in the construction industry. Under the leadership of Mrs. Padilla, On Center Software introduced Digital Production Control™ patented labor control technology, increased customer support accessibility, and launched On Center University to better educate and train customers and partners. She serves on the firm’s executive Vision Team, a think tank for the future of construction automation.
Mrs. Padilla is a respected estimator and project manager in the drywall industry. Like many professionals in construction, she is a second generation construction professional. Mrs. Padilla’s expertise spans 25 years in drywall, light- and heavy-gauge framing, lath and plaster, EIFS, fireproofing-themed facades, and acoustical ceilings. Prior to joining On Center Software in 2008, she worked for Marek Brothers Systems in Houston, Texas (where she was a power user of On Center Software solutions) and for Raymond Interior Systems in both Las Vegas, Nevada and Orange County, California.
Her passion for the industry is best observed during her numerous speaking engagements around the world. Mrs. Padilla speaks with owners, architects, general contractors, estimators and project managers in the industry to understand their challenges and issues. This first-hand knowledge of construction is the foundation for On Center Software’s customer centric business model.
Angelo M. Castelli Vice President, Operations
Angelo M. Castelli is Vice President of Operations for On Center Software, Inc. Mr. Castelli’s responsibilities include Direct Sales, Channel Partners, Marketing, and R&D. In addition, he serves on the firm’s executive Vision Team, a think tank for the future of construction automation.
He brings 10 years of commercial construction experience that includes chief estimator, project manager, and team management. His expertise includes metal framing, carpentry, drywall, insulation, acoustic ceilings, and millwork. Prior to joining On Center Software, Mr. Castelli worked for Western Reserve Interiors, Inc. of Cleveland, Ohio, where he was a power user of On Center Software solutions.
Mr. Castelli was instrumental in the creation and deployment of On Center Software’s business development and plan room programs. As a result of his vision, On Center Software solutions are used in over 200 academic institutions as required curriculum courses for construction management degrees. Mr. Castelli’s first-hand knowledge of estimating and project management delivers a very partner and business focused leadership across his responsibilities.
Martin Christopher (Chris) Buzz Vice President, Finance
Chris Buzz is Vice President of Finance and Administration for On Center Software, Inc. Mr. Buzz’s responsibilities include Finance and Accounting, HR, IT, Technical Support and Customer Training. In addition, he also serves as Controller of On Center Software.
Mr. Buzz has over 15 years of experience in driving process optimization, service deployment, and internal system improvements. His years prior to On Center Software include JPMorgan Chase in a variety of roles including VP within the Global Telecommunications division, North and South America Systems Production Assurance, and Manager of Southwest Client Services.
Under his guidance, On Center Software has implemented management solutions for both the front and back office systems. Customer Support services have grown to include International business day support as well as significant expansion of the Customer Training offerings.
Ronnie Yates Director of Technology
Ronnie Yates is Director of Technology for On Center Software, Inc. His responsibilities include the design, implementation, and quality within research and development. Mr. Yates holds 20 years of experience in creating and managing technology organizations. His expertise in technology, leadership, team building, and alignment of skills to needs delivers added value to the organization.
Mr. Yates most recently worked for HTC Corporation as Group Manager of Innovation Software. He has also worked at Microsoft on Visual Studio, .Net Compact Framework and Xbox XNA. Mr. Yates has held positions of developer, lead developer, software architect, and team manager. Creative and expanding environments is where he brings value to organizations and teams.
Gary A. Bartkus Director of Sales
Gary Bartkus is Director of Sales for On Center Software, Inc. He brings nearly 30 years of business information and high technology leadership experience to his role with the company.
Prior to joining OCS in 2010, Mr. Bartkus was with Alpheus Communications, a leading provider of Texas-based network and data center solutions, where he served as Vice President of Enterprise Sales & Marketing.
Mr. Bartkus began his career with Dun & Bradstreet Information Services, where he held operational and sales leadership positions of increasing responsibility across 14 years. He then served as Director of Sales for Houston Cellular Telephone Company for five years before moving to NextiraOne, LLC where he was VP of Centralized Sales. Before moving to Alpheus, Mr. Bartkus held executive sales leadership roles with Peak Technologies in Columbia, Maryland and G4 Associates in Sugar Land, Texas
He is a graduate of Glassboro State College (now Rowan University) in Glassboro, New Jersey. Mr. Bartkus holds a BA degree in psychology/business.
Cindy Sterling Director of Marketing
Cindy Sterling is Director of Marketing for On Center Software, Inc. Her responsibilities include Corporate Marketing, Product Marketing, Field Marketing, Brand Management, and Media and Analyst Relations. Ms. Sterling’s experience in national and international marketing is built on her customer centric marketing strategy driving growth across On Center Software’s portfolio.
Prior to joining On Center Software, Ms. Sterling was Director of N. American Marketing with Micro. She previously was Director of Americas Marketing with BMC Software. Ms. Sterling has a deep background in software Sales, Marketing, and R&D including responsibilities as a Sales Engineer, Product Marketer, Business Developer, Product Developer, Professional Services Manager, and Program Executive.
Aaron Stephens IT Manager
Aaron Stephens is Manager of Technical Support for On Center Software, Inc. His responsibilities include Training Management, Information Technology, and Customer Support. Mr. Stephens excels at team building, problem solving, and developing communication channels across locations. On Center Software’s 24 hour worldwide business day support was delivered under his skilled guidance.
Mr. Stephens brought 12 years of experience in Technical Support to his role with On Center Software. His past work experiences include Production Manager, Support Deliver Manager, and Technical Support Manager at Comcast, Time Warner Cable, Stream International, Terran Entertainment Group, and K.G. Marx.
Lisa Williams Accounting and HR Manager
Lisa Williams is Manager of Accounting and Human Resources for On Center Software. She is responsible for General Accounting, Human Resources, and Office Administrative Services. Ms. Williams brings 10 years of accounting and customer service experience to the company.
Before joining On Center Software, Ms. Williams worked for a hotel management company. Her duties included book keeping for several hotel properties across the U.S. Her expertise in back office automation and personnel support procedures are instrumental as the company continues to grow and expand its personnel and office locations.
Misty Malone Training Manager
Misty Malone is Manager of Training for On Center Software, Inc. Her responsibilities include Customer Training, Organizational Development, and On Center University. Ms. Malone brings 8 years of global training, adult learning, and instructional strategies to the company.
Ms. Malone worked in the Training and Oil and Gas Industries. She held positions as Training Administrator, Lead Online Instructor, and Business Specialist at BJ Services, Texas Connections Academy, and Anadarko Petroleum respectively. Ms. Malone’s focus on efficiency, customer satisfaction, and best practices in adult instructional strategies delivers significant contribution to the success of On Center Software customers.
