iWillDoAnythingForCustomers
It wasn't just consumers (and iWait for-hire college students) standing
in line for new iPhones on June 29. On Center’s own Michael Cooper went on a very early business trip to the Apple Store to spend the day in line. You may recall On Center recently hosted a contest for its customer base with the winner receiving the latest and greatest iGadget. We asked for software application case studies, and you all responded – we had more than 100 very detailed customer responses in a week!
Cooper retrieved the prized phone for a customer winner to be announced next month. On Center's customers span the globe, so if the winner is located outside of the US, they can't get ATT service...but they'll have a very cool iPhone for a clock.
Cynthie Thomas is the new On Center training manager!
Cynthie has been with On Center since October 2006, starting out as a Sales Account Manager. She has worked in construction for six years and in the computer industry for 14 years. As the new training manager, she will be managing the team of trainers, and is in charge of curriculum development and providing new programs for better learning. Congrats, Cynthie!
AACE- Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering
Greg Duyka and Tony Martindale attended the AACE show, July 15th-18th, 2007, in Nashville. They showed OST and Quick Bid to several of the professional cost estimators there. Much information was shared as to how On Screen Takeoff and Quick Bid can help them in the conceptual and design-build phases of their projects. This was OCS first time to attend this event and a great deal was learned about the AACE and its members.
